General Notes:

Has the so-called "Japan crystal" crackle finish, which was introduced in 1920. Within the autographic cover was found a small slip of paper (see picture below). The printed lines around it seem to indicate it was cut to fit that specific space. Camp Cooke in California was a military base, opened in 1941, that would later become Vandenberg Air Force Base.
