Gordon Bond has been
interested in history for as
long as he can remember.
His vocation is as a
professional and freelance
graphic artist, but his
avocations include history
(member of The Historical
Association of Woodbridge
Township and The Friends
of the Abraham Staats
House), amateur astronomy
(member of Amateur
Astronomers, Inc.;
Communications Committee
Chair for the United
Astronomy Clubs of New
Jersey), collecting antique
world and American paper
money, and collecting
antique cameras (see
details on this site). He is
currently working on a
biography of the colonial
printer, James Parker and
together with Stephanie
Hoagland a survey of New
Jersey folk grave markers
(see details on this site).

Stephanie Hoagland came
from Washington State to New
York, where she earned a
Masters Degree in Historic
Preservation from Columbia
University. She worked
extensively on survey projects
in Wildwood, New Jersey and
was instrumental in obtaining a
place for one of its unique
hotels on the State Register of
Historic Places. Now living in
NewJersey, she works for
Jablonski Berkowitz
Conservation in New York on
projects ranging from
restoration of Newark's Penn
Station to Washington Square
Park in NYC. She is a member
of The National Trust for
Historic Preservation, The
American Institute for
Conservation of Historic and
Artistic Works, The Historical
Association of Woodbridge
Township and the Friends of
the Abraham Staats House. She
is working with Gordon Bond on
a survey of New Jersey folk
grave markers (see details on
this site).
